The Blackfin Skeg is a seemless virgin nylon 6 composite installed with a flexible urethane adhesive. The impact is absorbed by the composite and then into the flexible adhesive shown in the (How Tough) video. The Blackfin can also replace a broken skeg but the most noticable feature is the added side surface area which increases the steering sensitivity.
